Hi, I’m Guillermina Etchebarne, and I’m a photographer. I was born in Buenos Aires, but for more than 20 years, I’ve lived with my family in the rural area of Argentine Patagonia.
Being immersed in the natural beauty of this environment gradually awakened in me a deep need to document everything that amazed me: the charm in the details, capturing the different lighting situations, and wanting to immortalize it in a moment forever.

Nací en Buenos Aires, pero desde hace más de 20 años vivo con mi familia en la zona rural de la Patagonia Argentina.
Estar inmersa en la belleza natural de este entorno fue despertando en mí una necesidad profunda de documentar todo lo que me maravillaba, el encanto en los detalles, capturar las diferentes situaciones de luz y querer plasmarlo en un momento para siempre.
This is how my journey in photography began: by finding the balance between family life, surrounded by nature, and doing what I was passionate about. I managed to create my own space, my place, my peace, where time stands still.
The constant professional training in this craft, without losing my personal vision in each shot, allows my essential quest—to find beauty in simplicity—to take on another dimension.
Así comenzó mi camino en la fotografía, encontrando el equilibrio de la vida familiar, rodeada de naturaleza, y haciendo lo que me apasionaba. Logre crear mi espacio, mi lugar, la paz, donde el tiempo no pasa.
La constante capacitación profesional en este oficio, sin perder mi mirada personal en cada toma, hacen que mi búsqueda en lo esencial, de encontrar la belleza en lo sencillo, tome otra dimensión.
Life in the countryside inspires me every day. The nobility of its people, the traditions, the silences, the rhythms… I feel there’s something eternal in all of it. Perhaps, my photos are a testimony to a way of life worth preserving.
Photography helps me focus on what truly matters. It’s my way of slowing down, taking a deep breath, and connecting. I seek the magic of the light, the soft movements, the minimal lines that calm the soul. I find peace in the details. And that is what I try to share through my photos.
La vida en el campo me inspira todos los días. La nobleza de su gente, las tradiciones, los silencios, los ritmos… siento que hay algo eterno en todo eso. Tal vez, mis fotos sean testimonio de una forma de vivir que vale la pena preservar.
La fotografía me ayuda a enfocarme en lo que realmente importa. Es mi manera de frenar, de respirar profundo, de conectar. Busco la magia de la luz, los movimientos suaves, las líneas mínimas que calman el alma. Encuentro paz en los detalles. Y eso, es lo que intento compartir a través de mis fotos.
I’m inspired by the people of the countryside, their nobility, their values, the traditions. I feel that something of that is fading away, and if my photos can leave a testimony of this way of life, it makes me happy.
I don’t look for the perfect shot. I look for the genuine. The light that suddenly appears. A gesture. A texture. Something that moves me. That’s what I want to convey.
Me inspira la gente del campo, su nobleza, sus valores, las tradiciones. Siento que algo de eso se está yendo, y si mis fotos pueden dejar un testimonio de esta forma de vida, me hace feliz.
No busco la foto perfecta. Busco lo verdadero. La luz que aparece de golpe. Un gesto. Una textura. Algo que me emocione.
Eso es lo que quiero contar.
